The Robin figure is clearly based off his Post Infinite Crisis costume, hence the trading card having an illustration from a comic of that era, but the figure is clearly molded to be his original costume, hence the short sleeves, molded oval for the R logo, ect. The Power Ring, if it is an original design, is fine to reuse parts from existing figs.
This is what I don't understand. You guys are so against mold reuse, even when it can be considered appropriate or not offensive. The Professor X figure for example, looks like what it's supposed to look like. It really doesn't bother me if other characters that have the same build also use that body. It's one reason why MLs have a much more diverse character selection compared to DCMV. Power Ring for example is fine because it isn't based on any pre-existing design whereas that Robin clearly is but because Todd just repainted what is obviously going to be a 90s era Tim, it looks like complete ass and is far more egrigious since it's entirely inaccurate to what it's trying to do.
