It's all kind of superfluous at the end of the day and I guess stuff like video games and movies are more socially acceptable to collect. To me it's the same as buying something decorative for your house, but there are slopes where you can just impulse buy shit for an absurd amount of money.

Well considering the only person who decides how I spend the money I don't spend have to spend on bills is me. I guess I don't have to really justify spending money on things on I want.

If I have to justify it then I probably shouldn't be buying it.

If you are not hurting yourself or other people, nor being exploited by paying too much or buying too much, I don't see that you need justification. If you have anxiety or something else about this hobby then you should stop and take some time to do something else or talk to your family and friends.
