Finally got a unit to put all my Monkie Kid stuff on. I'm going to need to expand it immediately since I have 3 more sets I haven't built yet.
>>10079056I think there's a decent chance; it's certainly the best chance. They can release them under a Super Mario Bros Movie theme separate to the normal sets which would allow them to double dip on the IP which is slowing sales wise.
If it doesn't happen with the movie, it's not happening at all.
>>10078684Ah hell ye dude, please hit me up with the tree instructions and parts list. I'm in the process of clearing out the guest room to make a dedicated Legofag room with a big coffee table for my Castle stuff so it can actually get played with. I've got the Castle, Blacksmith and Hideout sets, and I've been looking for trees so I can add a forest and those look perfect.

Nah, I get a feeling that Lego are testing the waters with a switch to fleshies. Ninjago and City's TV shows (and Monkie Kid if it sticks around) will probably mean those themes retain yellows, but unlicensed adult sets like the Lighthouse and maybe even Creator could switch. This set definitely gives me the feeling Lego want to, or are at least considering the Fleshipocalypse.
Given the sheer weight of sales Licence shit brings in, they're probably already pumping out heads in most of the fleshy colours in a similar quantity to yellows.
