All you have to do is look on youtube, and half the reviews are from people saying "i've never been into power rangers", or "i use to like power rangers and my kids watch it." The thing is these collectors don't remember some obscure villain. Even goldar is obscure af.
The only thing people remember is the rangers, and 90% of the population think its the same characters for every season.
Actually put some though into this. Power rangers is on netflix, and the majority of "adult" watchers only watch it with their kids. There isn't a fanbase, its just 500 people who attend power morphicon every year, and a few adult collectors who buy it for the articulation. The kids buy the zords and basic figures.
The power rangers brand has failed, and hasbro is only producing LC every 6 months because they are hoping cosmic fury, or the movie will be a huge succes.
If youre already struggling to put things on shelves, the last thing you want is a backround character who was around for one episode in the late 90's
