I have money so it's not a big problem but I can definitely see how the current market prices could be a problem for "smaller" collectors. Having to choose between two toys because you can only afford one yet knowing you would be able to buy the two of them if they were priced accordingly to what they have to offer is bullshit.

I used to regularly spend hundreds on shit like Soul of Chogokins but the rising costs vs poor quality control just poisoned that well for me. Also they're a bitch to sell locally because there's pretty much nobody else in this whole fucking country who's interested in this shit. I can't even sell my fucking Monsterarts figures at a reasonable cost.

That said, pic related isn't my most expensive toy, but it was great value for the money, I think I managed to pick it up for 12000 yen some years back.
