>>10093391Ah yes, this is also great, although I never understood why parts of the pipes and such (esp. on the upper right) weren't painted by the factory. I painted mine, 5/5 no regrets. Shame that like with certain other toys, some of the accessories have become sticky and gooey because the PVC degrades.
>>10100039A legend. I got this as a Christmas present in my childhood and at some point, not that long after, I decided to donate it to the local hospital's child patient unit. My mom was all like "oh Anon, that's so kind of you" but soon after I started regretting it, although I've never told anyone this before. To this day I still somewhat regret it, even though I know it went for a good cause and no doubt inspired joy in kids who needed it a lot more than I did.

That guy is not just a fantastic designer but a great human being for he shares his designs for free instead of charging $$$ like some Jew.
>>10118717Well technically true, yeah, plus the fact it was only released like in the UK and maybe some other European countries? But literally not in the US, as the Palitoy version was a cheaper version of the US Death Star Playset that Kenner released, requiring almost no plastic.
Still, in my experience, if taken decent care of, cardboard CAN last. Certain plastic (PVC) toys just don't seem to last. At least Lego sets are basically eternal because they're ABS.
>>10119421ngl that's cool as hell. Reminds me of the Lego Western theme. Based.
>>10119778It only clocks you as an American because G.I. Joe was never really a thing in Europe.
But yeah, they did the same with the Mustafar playset. It was originally released in 2005 as a part of the Revenge of the Sith toyline and then in 2008 when the then-new Indiana Jones movie and the associated toyline were released, it was repainted and re-released as the Lost Temple of Akator.
