>>10094344Pretty much everything plastic you buy originates in China. So being afraid of toxic plastic toy bricks from China is kind of nonsensical when pretty much every other plastic piece of shit in your home is likely the same. It's just standard injection molded ABS.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with fake Lego. After you buy and assemble it, it has 0 value as an asset. In my mind, something retaining value after purchase, despite having a higher initial price is a better overall value. I also cycle through things as not to be a hoarder so being able to resell something down the line for pretty much the same price you bought it for is always awesome.
