yeah my bad for only trusting a lone tranny forum thread i guess, they have a pretty even blend of bad and good reviews everywhere else. i don't know why they have issues with preorders specifically, i'm guessing the owner isn't making enough money to pay for stock consistently

A startling number of scam sites pop up on google shopping searches. Just today when looking for old exclusives I found a chinese site that was a clone of a random independent toy shop in Ohio's site.

Yeah I got yoinked as well. the thing is, my first order from them came in fine (though it was in stock, not preorder). I think it's a reseller posing as a toy store with a "warehouse"

I've had success with them for a couple of things you'd easily find in stores or in mass market websites, but the one time I relied on them for an import preorder, I had the same experience as OP. I waited ages for the Ultraseven SHF I ordered and only got vague "It should have arrived already, but we don't know when it will. Bandai sends us what they send us whenever they send it." Eventually, they finally offered store credit and I took it and used it for an SS Momotaros. Ultraseven's been stupidly expensive ever since and I missed out on him at retail because I relied on them.

I pre ordered several model kits from them last year and when half of their pre-orders kept getting delayed a month later each consecutive month, I asked for a refund and got a refund for all of them. Sorry you had bad luck with them OP

yeah, i was pretty laissez-faire on the whole thing since it was a "cheap preorder i can be patient for," until july when i inquired to them andgot a "well it's been 90 days so we can only give store credit" so i was like ugh whatever but then september came... and october came... and it's allegedly too late to chargeback on my credit line (180 days) so here's this thread. shitty situation, but this is at least the first time i've fallen for something this stupid. too bad this only ends up worse for the consumer either way, if the smaller stores aren't reliable then the BBTS's and the like are our only options and they can do fucking whatever (but at least BBTS actually gets preorders)
