>>10109728>First off they need to make the figures good that's the first step. They've already proven they can do this with the DBZ line. Bandai can be lazy, but when they get their shit together they can pretty seamlessly capture the aesthetic of a character.
>They also have to be quick or people lose interest seeing the same characters again.DBZ is averaging like 15 release a year at this point and that isn't even counting the Event Exclusives they do. They could very easily do the entire crew in a year if they focused only on them. Hell, they could throw in fan favorite non-SHs and they could still get a crew out in an easy 2-3 years.
>With action figures the goal for most collectors is to finish the main cast but with OP you've got such a large one its just inherently more difficult to get to that end point. One Piece fans are broken into a few different camps. You get the people that only buy one character, you get the scale fags who want the entire world, and then you have the rest of the people who would probably settle for the full crew and a few others sprinkled in. Obviously you are going to get people who just want a luffy, zoro, sanji and don't do anything more from there, but that's why P-Bandai exists.
>There's also the whole P-bandai vs general release thing. It is almost guaranteed to be the following:
Regular Releases:
>Luffy>Nami>Zoro>ChopperCould be either:
>Sanji>RobinP-Bandai:
>Franky>Jinbei>Brooke>UsoppBandai has the tools they need to do the job, they just need to be the first to get an entire crew out in a reasonable 1/12th scale (fuck Megahouse and IW's weird 1/9th scale) and then the rest will take care of itself.
