the plastic ones break if you spin them really fast and then bump them on something. metal ones are okay.

that was literally why they were invented. The thing is, the woman who invented them patented it and then they didn't get popular until the patent expired. I feel like they might have helped me back when I was in school but it is hard to say. I really would like there to be a cure for ADHD, it's really frustrating.

Has there ever been anything that was such a gigantic fad as fidget spinners? Fucking seemed like everyone had them, and stores were trying to sell them by the thousands, but by the time they got them in in bulk, the fad was over and no one was buying them anymore. They did help with my ADHD but the ball bearings wear out fast. If they were indestructible I'd still play with them but friction kills them no matter how careful you are.

These seem to have replaced spinners but I feel absolutely nothing from them. Popping real bubblewrap feels much better and even then that's only fun in short bursts. I could play with spinners for hours and I never found a good replacement for them.

I bought a set from the Nature Company back in the 90s when they were called Orbit Balls. Balls were foam which later became the "plus" model when they were renamed Astrojax.
Never really did much with them besides the basic tick-tock motion.

They're still around but most of the activity is in Facebook groups, custom machined metal ones that faggots spend literally hundreds of dollars on, as well as absolutely pointless shit like metal "worry stones" and whatever else the makers can shill to their paypigs.
