It does, but I don't think it sits - they opted instead for it transforming into cannon mode. But it does indeed exist. They go for about $37 on eBay (posted in old thread on accident)

VS Packs: 2 Packs of the rangers vs their Psycho Ranger counterparts.

Deluxe: The rangers with their Galaxy Gliders.

Exclusive: 5 Pack with all 5 rangers.

I’m not buying them again for pinless joints, but I will be pretty bugged if Pink has the correct paint apps on her shoulders, however she gets rereleased.
I assume she’d be in a 2/3-pack with Kendrix or Psycho Pink and the Savage Sword but I guess you never know.

The option of pinless figured with Galaxy gliders means we’d get yet another TJ elsewhere, and we’ve already gotten two Psycho Blues, so I doubt they’d do a 2-pack for those two. Idk, this whole mess means you end up buying at least two of almost every single in space ranger, it’s not great.

Hasbro can do a perfect figure but then their re-releases wouldn't sell.

When Zhane revealed the figure there were no closeups so it's hard to tell about the finished product.

Upgrades are the pinless body. From the pictures the chest deco improved. They look more like rectangles like in the show instead of random squares.

Downfalls. The gold trim on the visor looks thicker that's not accurate. We'll see how it turns out in person. The gold trim on the arms isn't painted all the way like the first figure. This time they only painted what's visible on the outside. His collar from the back it still wrong. It should be like the rest of the In Space figures but for some reason they keep giving Zhane the same front deco design to his back collar.

I don't think the Zhane head is the same as Psycho Silver. The hair is definitely different. I know it got a lot of flack when it was first shown, but I think the Walgreens head is the best of them. It captures his lighthearted personality really well. Though I'm glad to have a more stern version as well.

Just the face sculpt is the same, def the hair is different. You can see it in the cheekbones, lips, the left nostril.

I liked the Walgreens head too. I wish they'd re deco that face sculpt for another release.

Rangers are extremely cheap to make, and now they're selling someone like Blue Senturion as a more expensive deluxe when there's no reason he can't be in a regular wave. Hasbro isn't even willing to spring for one new mold per wave. We have gotten some completely new molds in waves (Tenga, Phantom), but they're few and far between. The profit margins for this line must be huge given all the part reuse.

Blue Sentorian can at least be justified by the amount of paint apps they didn't skimp on plus the clear parts. Sad reality is these prices are just going to keep going up, and I'd rather they get Blue Sentorian right on the first try instead of fucking him up twice like with Goldar.

Does anyone know what Zeo Rangers have silver trim on their helmets and what ones have White Trim? I knew blue's helmet was different but I thought it was the sculpt which was easier for me to ignore. Red and Yellow have white trim, the other three are silver. Blue's sculpt is a bit fucked up, the ridge under the visor shouldn't extend around the entire helmet. Gold's visor also protrudes outward when it should be flat. The Zeo helmets are a bit of a mess.

Dino Thunder is another example of helmet inconsistency. Red and Blue have incorrect silver visor trim, while Yellow is properly white. And then there's Trent who didn't have any trim at all unless you requested a replacement head.

kek, they're all slightly off, they almost look right, but there's a few angles on each one that are too sharp or curved wrong. The latest hasbro versions are pretty much picture perfect

I thrifted one without the bone recently (and the handle is damaged). He can totally be posed in a sitting position due to the transformation. The only problems with him are no lights in the eyes and very limited head articulation. I'm sure I could fix all of those issues though.

Can't really make thinner fabric at this scale without risking tearing it every time you articulate. Mezco fabric gets creases and snags from the underlying joints all the time, going thinner means its gonna just tear. I think what they need to do is have a smaller body for these sort of character instead, using the same half dozen bodies is sort of what they do though, honestly convinced thats the entire reason they do cloth so they don't have to make much tooling for each figure.

Got the swapped Red and Yellow 2 pack. Holy shit the new helmets are SO MUCH better. Only problem is the sockets are very tight. Which is fucking weird since the actual ball joint on the new and old figures is the same size. I could barely get the helmets on the actual figures they're supposed to go on. I can get them on the old bodies and red's is fine, if not a little tight but Trini's is so tight that I'm afraid of getting it stuck and breaking the ball joint. I may try to widen the socket a bit.

The new figures themselves are interesting. They are painless, have drop down hips and have a dumbbell joint for the head with the neck being it's own separate part on a ball joint. The tolerances on the joints are pretty shit. Jason's elbows for example or super tight and his knees are super loose. Makes me just wanna keep the current figs and upgrade their helmets. Only Red and Blue's really bugged me. Everyone else's looked close enough imo.

It's crazy how difficult it is to pop heads on and off when alternate heads are a feature. I've had easier times removing heads from figures that weren't intended to ever come off than the Lightning Collection, and that's been an issue since wave 1.

These look like shit. They have the same issue all the other One:12 figures that are supposed to be wearing spandex, the body isn't thin enough to make up for how thick the material is, so it makes them look like they are wearing pajamas.

Its tiring. I don't like mmpr. Its silly, and its not representative of tokusatsu or super sentai. If you account for the disney era, Mmpr isn't even representative of power rangers.

Kamen rider also suffered from this issue, and took a long break, before coming back with kuuga. Since then kamen rider has been the most popular toku show. If you gave mmpr a break, people would like it more. Just a 3 year break. Thats all i'm asking.

It's not that. They do the arms in one factory, chest in another, legs, knees in different places. Then there's another factory that assembles them. So they receive all the figure parts from all over the place and just put them together. They are not going to color match, that's not their job.

It doesn't much matter if they're made in the same place or not, the real issue is that they use three different kinds of plastic and certain colors are a pain in the ass to match across all three. Chests are usually ABS, limbs are usually PVC, and joint discs are POM.

I only have two mezcos, but both of them look way better in hand than in their official photos. The promo shots really do look like shit, they aways look like composites made in photo shop with different elements scaled wrong, and they’re always too up close. It’s like they’re overconfident about how good their sculpts and materials look. But in hand at 1/12 scale, I love the ones I have at least.

I would think MMPR would benefit from the Mezco soft goods look, but these look kinda off to me. I wish I could wait to see real prototype shots.

I seriously have never found Pig Face and Eyeguy locally. Walmarts didn't in the area didn't even bother with Sphinx and Pumpkin. Retailers may have bought the initial waves but I don't even see preorders for Snizzard on Target and Walmart online, just specialty online stores.

OhRanger has a lot of interesting lore to it.

It was supposed to be a super serious season ala Jetman, with an alien invasion angle treated super serious with big body counts towards their attacks and an apocalyptic flair to it.

But shortly after production began, there was a huge earthquake in Japan and then the terror attack on the Tokyo subway system where a doomsday cult used sarin gas to kill people.

This led to Toei pulling an audible and after like ten episodes, ditching the grim dark and making the show more generic like regular sentai.

The show's ratings were bad but the toy sales were very strong, which worked out well but created issues as far as killing any chances for future seasons being like Jetman.

I always wonder why it was this way I wonder if maybe parents were on a "don't watch TV like this" kick, maybe? toywise, there were definitely more DX releases so that makes sense, but its curious how they sold so well yet few wanted to watch the show.

I'd say it's this and the fact that you aren't owning a figure of the actor, but the character. Sure people love the ones behind the characters. They help give them their identity. It is and I like it quite a bit. Only real issues I’d say I have with it is that the hands are kind of tiny and that the dragon shield gets in the way of posing the arms (but that’s going to be true for pretty much any MMPR green toy).

Man, suicide is really a fucking downer. When I was in highschool and battling with depression the thought crossed my mind but never acted on it. Had a lot of family die in my early life so it felt like there wasn't a point in living. Sure I'm better now but it's not a good mindset to be in. This looks very good. As usual S7 nails monsters and fucks up everything else. I genuinely don't understand how there is such discrepancy in all their lines. Do they have different sculptors working on the same line? Do they just fucking outsource all the monsters to 4 horsemen or something?

This guy looks pretty good too. Pretty much exactly as figured, this line is as hit or miss as everything else they make. I was hoping these would be better as I hate the proportions of LC and long missed the boat on bandai's stuff but these rangers look rough. Maybe I'll just buy the monsters instead, not like Hasbro's aren't already oversized.

Damn these look awful, might cancel my preorders but I'll wait for some more pics but it's not looking good, a shame. I wanted a great green ranger figure and didn't like the flimsy Figuarts so I sold it despite being otherwise great. And i still have a Hasbro green ranger/putty 2 pick unopened since i never liked the look of that one either.
