I was watching Friday The 13thPart IV-The Final Chapter, when I noticed in Tommy's room he had some toys on the shelf.
I recognize the original MOTU Ram-Man on the right side of the shelf but I'm at a loss for the other toys.

Post stills of other movies with toys and maybe we can help identify them.

Brad Dourif's character has Blade and Trap Jaw from MotU, Mumm-Ra, and I think a Pretender. Plus a bunch of other stuff I didn't recognize. And probably more but I didn't want to sift through the entire movie to find others

The human Terminator John Connor is a bona-fide bionicle Sped in that show. Goes into the lore about Tahu in one episode. Tron Legacy has both the old and new NECA toys in Kevin Flynns house in Sam's Bedroom. Also an old Sarc figure too.

One of the ones I always remember is that scene in Godzilla Final Wars where the kid is playing with a bunch of Godzilla sofubi, there is this knock off Gamera the kid throws into the fire and I always wondered if this was a real thing.

From Spaced Invaders you have gojulas being the inspiration for the farmzoid that appears later in the film, it's also holding the missile for an erectors set thing I'm not aware of but also had. Came with a plastic tank turret with lights or IR or something.

In Death Wish V: The Face of Death, Charles Bronson goes to a toy store to buy a remote control ball he puts a bomb inside to kill someone with. You can see a shelf of 1993 Playmobil boxes and a train setup, some Lego too I think, among other things.

Star Trek DS9 had Quark play with some Playmates Ferengi action figures at one point & a "pile of dead Borg" from Voyager was made of Playmates figures.

And it's a technicality but Enterprise took to using the Art Asylum/DST phaser toys because the $20 merchandise was far cheaper to get than the costly replicas, were more durable & worked better.

Possibly, though there's a few female pornstars I've seen that collect even outside of porn-related videos, like Violet Myers who collects manga and anime figures, or Tanya Tate who collects funkos. I've seen a few others but I can't recall their names off the top of my head. I don't doubt some fake their interest to boost viewers, though.

That episode aired before the debut of the TV series(Months before the actual TV release), so most likely someone on staff was aware of the first wave of toys. It aired March 96, given the first wave of toys started being seen around late 95. Could've been HAsbro freebies for promotion, too.

Not the best quality but there’s a shot with a bunch of cool toys in The Deadly Spawn. Some of the coolest include a Shogun Warriors Godzilla, a Mego Kong plush, and a Micronauts Cerebros with Repto’s wings attached (he’s to the right of Godzilla and you can make out his glow in the dark brain if you squint hard enough).

Sorry for the double post but there’s also a really sick shot in Creepshow with a bunch of 70s/80s monster toys. Another Shogun Godzilla, Mattel’s Krusher, a Remco Mummy, and even a Miclas from Ultra Seven. There’s also a Shogun Warriors Rodan in the room and a shot that focuses on it.
