Some of the movie figures had the same problems. Helix had this weird hunch thing going on that I ended up fixing with a heat gun.

Most of my O-ring Joes ended up breaking which is why I don't have them anymore. if it wasn't the O-ring snapping, it was the thumbs snapping. I must have been a real retard with my toys because my Star Wars toys were in horrible shape when I got rid of them too.

That's one of the reason I loved the 25A figures, and the movie figures. They had hands made of vinyl so you could actually put stuff in their hands without having to worry about stuff breaking.

Remember the foot pegs for the figures? Yeah I had my fair of pegs being stuck inside the bottom of the shoes of my figures. Not many thankfully.

I've been 3D printing stands for my classified figures and I have to be very careful to make adjustments for each character because as you can imagine, it's very easy for a 3D printed peg to snap off. It was way worse with the original line though because they were made entirely out of hard plastic.

Man, you guys' joes had a rough time. I don't remember ever having a broken thumb or a busted o-ring. Major reason I still love the old figures is cause they were made of ABS instead of rubbery seam-line-plagued PVC. Solid little figures that were really poseable for their time.

It wasn't all my figures, but it wasn't uncommon either. I had both 80s and 90s Joes and the 80s ones often had the broken thumbs. I guess it was the age of them or that the majority of the ones I had were perviously owned by someone else
