voice box for 80s bear

No.10130358 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The 80s gave us this voice box which takes what you say, waits for a pause, and then repeats it back, muffled, reordered, bear-talk, so it turns it into something sounding like a reply.
It used just a 9v battery, so there was nothing active, just all analog circuits
I am a programmer, not an engineer (I wish I had studied electrical engineering desu) and I am thinking "well this would be easy with a 12V power supply, raspberry pi and python") - stupid.
can anyone figure out a good analog circuit powered by 9V that will work on low power like this?
I haven't found an open one, but there were some clones made in the 90s
Maybe one of you have one spare. I tried to buy one but fk ebay.
If you can think of a simple circuit to do this, or know some more info, let me know!
