Imports are nice but not 140 after shipping on most lines nice nowadays, especially when more budget lines like RD and Revo have doubled in price. Just I didn't expect domestics to do the same thing with say, a TF deluxe doubling in 10 years. Imports used to be worth that 80% more than domestic, and now neither feels worth it.
I'll still buy things that pique my interest or are of IPs I love, but even in the latter case the hikes have become too much. Like I'd love to get more Clones but exclusives are nightmarish to get ahold of and expensive. And while I'd love that Sentinel Gravion, I can't justify $500. I could absolutely have justified the $200ish chogokin style figs went for 8 years ago, but not an over double price increase for somewhat comparable quality and engineering.
