Not with the same paint colors. You can find the same enforcer and the crushed car in the two packs. I have seen them. Can't find them on the internet. The crushed car was a monster truck exclusive until it got released in the 5 pack.

I got the 5 pack on the left, and looking now (to try and find the model name) there's some fairly cool fantasy designs across the range.

Just came back from Target Aus and got the biggest haul. I've now completed the Corvette 70th Years collection that I started >>10147127 and I got almost all of the Jay Leno Garage cars except for the Countach. Instead my Target had the Panterra so I figured why not. But I need to find that Countach and I hope the scalpers don't get to it or otherwise I will have to cave online.

What are you talking about? Maybe if you include all the dollar store chink shit brands that might be true. All the major diecast brands are metal body and plastic/metal base with the occasional exception

This has been driving me crazy. You know the 1/18 scale cars that are attached to a black rectangular base? I swear there are some plastic clips you can attach to the corners, allowing you to stack another car on top

I’m no artist but the red lines are what I mean. You snap them on each corner of the lower car, then snap the top corners into the upper car.

Is this something that exists? Because I can’t find it for the life of me

Ok so it's not just my copy that has the problem, it's a design flaw-ish of the casting. A relief to know but still annoyed that one of my favorite Lancia Stratos design doesn't roll well because of how close the rear wheels are to the wheel arch.

why is it that anything RC _MUST_ have some crooked ass scale? there seems to be some sort of fucked up rule that prevents them from using the same scales like scale models (1:43 in this case). do they fear people would use them as base to just slap their scale models on?

It's not just 1:43 issue. Bburrago for example scaled Range Rover down to 1:26 (instead of usual 1:24) so it doesn't stick out so much among usual 1:24 collection. It's a common practice with some producers that use same line with slightly altered scales so actual model is more or less similar in size despite differences. I guess actual true 1:43 scale CSL would seem too tiny (even if true) compared to other regular 1:43 cars.

This scale bullshit is also the main reason why I eventually stuck with 1:18 since it's usually way more consistent.
Bburago especially annoyed the piss out of me with their scale jumping. It's also really sad to see the China tag on that Bburago. The ones I have are all still made in Italy.

Found these four today. I didn't really like the GTR at the last moment, but the cashier already was scanning my stuff. Looks pretty bad. Unlike the 2021 version this one doesn't even have painted taillights.
My favorites of the bunch are the Toyota and the Nova.

It's because they are saving on packaging.
They are using typical box for every car in 1/24 range, as it is much easier for them to scale down the car, then produce different box for every model.
Kismart, for example uses only one type of packaging, in which they managed to fit every scale from 1/24 to 1/68

nice catch anon, for me this year has been alright, my country is kind of blessed and cursed at the same time, cursed because mainlines from hot wheels and mbx is the only thing we get and right now they cost 2,50 in major chains, blessed since we receive almost every case through out the year so there is always some good stuff.

We often like to say that metal on metal is the definite way to go, but handling some older diecast cars I was thinking "doesn't really feel that solid" - both weight and sturdiness wise.
Surprisingly, a MB Superfast Volkswagen type 3 with opening doors, metal on metal, is 33g while a 2022 release of a HW Audi is 37g. Sizewise, you can see that the Audi is a bit more chunky, but overall the size is comparable. I think this was interesting.

SEA guy here, It's not sketchy. They're not as popular as some of the bigger Hong Kong brands namely Mini GT, Era Cars, Tarmac and Inno64.

They're kinda lower tier of the hierarchy and not known too much outside Asia, always produced a limited number of models and move on quickly - I'm suspecting due to licensing and budget constraints, but recently some of them like LCD Models, YM Model, HKM, Stance Hunters and this has been punching above their weights.

Pic related had this pre-ordered from a new company called OKM, appeared out of nowhere and are now releasing their first diecast

I had an orange 1/24 scale Camaro based off the 1969 year model, one of my favs. Me being a dumbass one day, I left it in reach where my nephew could get it and he broke off one of the tires and snapped off one of the doors.
And the farm truck adjacent to it was probably shit by design because the driver's side wheel would constantly disconnect from a broken notch that would hold it in place. Guess that what I get for buying diecast models at Walmart.

CM6 Wheels are back on the menu boys. THis is probably the first time in a while we're getting premium metal/metal cars with plastic wheels. But CM6 are my favourite so I don't mind, plus these will actually go fast unlike those with Real Riders.

Real Riders was always the defining aspect of Premium, without it it'll just be a mainline car that's jacked up in pricing for no reason other than nostalgia and the slapped on Premium name. For overall speed I have the Super 6-lane Raceway. That connected to multiple orange track pieces I create a 1/64th scale quarter mile straightaway to "drag race" on. I also have a shitload of other track sets as well. All work but the 6-lane Raceway is my top choice.

In my haste I forgot to take pics of the cars in the packaging but whatever. Just got the Ronin Run set, was a bit too hasty buying it on Hobbysearch and ended up having to pay for shipping that made these cars worth double the normal price. But considering how rare and regularly sought out Premium cars are here in Aus it doesn't hurt as much. Either way a great set and it contains almost all the JDM cars that I love, the RX-7 FC was something I always looked pass on but that widebody kit got my attention, and the Starlet is deceptively small but might be my favourite out of the cars. Looks like something that was ready for the highways and off-road.
