>>10204560You’re welcome, anon. Good luck, try not to get discouraged. It’s like everything else, the more you do it the better you’ll get.
As a seller, just protect yourself as good as you can. Be honest in the listing. Take good pics. Be honest with the shipping costs.
eBay will want you to accept returns. I’d suggest not doing it because the buyer could send it back for any reason, including they just don’t want it anymore, and you wouldn’t have a say. By not accepting returns, you’ll have to OK it first. You can still accept them, but it’s your choice.
I would also suggest listing your items to be shipped through eBay’s Global Shipping Program if you want to sell world wide. Most foreign countries have shitty postal services, and there are the scammers who take advantage of it by claiming items were never delivered.
You don’t have to worry about any of that with the Global Shipping Program. The item just has to reach the eBay hub safely. If anything happens to it after that, then eBay will take care of it.
Lastly, if you’re selling something expensive, get insurance and a signature confirmation. I don’t even charge sellers for that because it’s for my own peace of mind.
