I just don't want unfinished game rosters. So I'd still be content with only 3 waves if it meant we got MM1 finished but didn't start a second game to leave unfinished

If only the fucking franchise was as solid as Sonic and Mario, Jakks could do it. It's unfortunate they only did MegaMan: Fully Tard and some random voxel figurines of fucking MM1 characters and a random big fig of rock with sounds and weapon parts.

that’s the biggest problem with megaman right now, there hasn’t been a really good game/show/comic in a while. 11 was ok, the show was meh, and the comic has been on indefinite hiatus. it would thrive if there was a game that latched onto a good trend (movement shooter) but capcom can’t see more than five feet in front of them

I often wonder if fragmenting the franchise the way they did is what caused Mega Man as a character to not stay relevant.
Like Mario and Sonic are always Mario and Sonic, even when it's not a main line game. But it's not always the same Mega Man. There's him, X, .exe, Volnutt, and they each have their own fans that are not necessarily fans of the other versions.

And never in Jada theyre focusing on megaman 1 to 3 and want to do all the RMs if it lasts. I love Megaman Legends and would buy toys of everyone they made since 4inchnel only did 2 characters but this makes a lot more sense for them.

I wont be buying everything just my favourite robot masters.

Classic Mega Man Robot Master design is so basic that it's a wonder why anyone would willingly go through the process of redesigning them, and then over complicating it. You could kit bash most of the bastards to make new Robot Masters and have a cheap toy line to push out.
Why on Earth FC went the route that they did is a complete mystery. I don't think they even wanted to make a Mega Man show.

Not wanting to sound like a snapshitter but honestly, sometimes those companies need to realize that they aren't really doing actual model kits anymore but DIY action figures and just upgrade the plastics from PS to ABS and ABS to POM for them.
GSC already does it for some of their more combination/transformation-heavy Moderoids, as does Bandai for some of their Super Miniplas.
