Me-Man.org posters DEFENDED the QC with "what do you expect for $35?" I expected better than random bootleg quality. The backpedaling & broken promises should have hurt them but the geeks shrugged it off.
I have not paid retail for any TMNT. I find some good but a few needed Pledge dripped into joints. I have also skipped characters I don't care for. EE knocking the new wave down $15 off says something.
I got Ghost Papa Emeritus because I support good bands, that I paid retail for but the aftermarket is all scalpers, no discounts. But I doubt the line will continue. Shame because after seeing how hideous the Neca Angus Young is(it looks like the face was intended for Jamie Foxx's Wanda character), I wouldn't want the IP to go elsewhere.
But I also hate Brian Flynn's shitty attitude & pompous delusions. he makes toys but acts like he makes Ferraris. No one is flaunting this guy's products to show off to the wealthy. The fancy box printing, the outer boxes & shit like the unpainted weapon trees probably cost them $1 more in production yet they tack on a hefty markup for it.
