New collector here, so far I've put together a small cabinet of McFarlane DC, Marvel Legends and NECA Horror figures, with a few other series dotted about (I'm a sucker for anything Toxic Crusaders), but when looking at other lines to start, I need some advice.

I usually start off with the 'main' characters (founding Avengers, The Trinity etc) but with other lines like Retro Star Wars, G.I. Joe, especially Transformers and Power Rangers Lightning Collection and some others I've looked at, this seems to be increasingly difficult to source. Once a Wave is released and sold out, am I stuck to scouring eBay and the like? Or are Waves sometimes re-released?

I'm in the U.K. which makes it a bit harder, but even when sucking it up and looking at doing a big BBTS order, there's some stuff I just can't mind (Lightning MMPR Blue, for example)
Struggling to decide which lines to persue so that I'm not stuck with grabbing JUST C-List characters (as much as I do love ML Maggot).
