Re-ment box sets are a good starting place.
My first ever miniature purchase was their "Bar Tiny" set.
I also buy a bunch from Michael's craft store.

Do note that Re-Ment is technically not 1/12 though. The furniture that comes in the blind boxes, especially, is closer to 1/24. The other stuff is fine, though, and the furniture that comes on its own as part of a set is 1/12.

The little armory gun display kits are nice but they're too fucking expensive. I just ordered a couple of those similar 1/6 racks from ebay. I have too many guns and similar stuff and nowhere to display them. Does anyone have these? How do they look with Little Armory and other 1/12 weapons?

Orange Cat Industry made those in 1:12. AWSP-02A and B. Not sure about availability now, but they were cheaper than the LA options when released. Biggest issue I found was they provided way too few hooks.

I bought a cheap christmas tree decoration at the supermarket today and built a slightly nicer stand for it. It's a bit small but it will do for this christmas

Trying my hand at making a winter scene to display some figurines and take some pics, made some cotton ball snow piles, but seem to be coming up short on ideas… any thoughts? What are some good things I can put together for a 1:12 diorama winter scene?

A leafless tree covered in snow could fit, it should be fairly easy to make from wire. You could also make some smaller bushes the same way.

Found this over on 2Chan. Pretty demonstrative of how various Re-Ment items scale with a figma. I don't see the deerstalker from the set, but Re-Ment hats tend to be too large for even Mezco heads.

What would be a good way to make snow?
One thing that comes to mind is using kinetic sand in color white, but I dunno if they sell sand in that color

Depends how permanent you want it, if it doesn't need to be removable pva glue mixed with baking soda and a bit of white paint works well.

Mixing in shredded tissue helps to make it look fluffy too but you have to shred it really fine
