>they grew up on legoI grew up on legos.
Fuck I did not even know anything like non-lego existed.
However for me legos are strange.
I liked some of the ideas as a child.
However I love if these figures where sculpted.
If I look at MEGA they are a far better mini figure idea (if the quality shit or something?)
As a jaded adult I see that lego literally has 1 figure and uses print ones (or what are they) to basically draw whatever on it (SUPER CHEEP).
Lego has the problem that it basically turned form a fun construction toy
>Hey you can make houses or whatever cars Into
>DO THIS SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION THING ! Basically no more princess unikitty and more
>DO THIS SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION THING ! Also while lego was non licensed there was creativity now it is basically
>Harry Potter>Star WarsIf it was generic space or generic castle or generic pirate with little to no background lore then the child can invent the story.
Now it is
>DC or Superman/Batman>Harry Potter>Star WarsOnly in pre funko pop funko pop.
Also lego has the problem of to many parts. I doubt any kid can figure out his idea for a car or building that will be of the same quality as the ones lego is selling under their guide.
Lego manages to be anti-creativity and punishes you for thinking outside of the guidelines.
It would be far more creative if it gave the kids a pre made cockpits and the kid can attach guns or wheels or make a balcony on top.
When I was a kid I loved to swap the equipment of lego space men.
I think if mega or whoever can give swap able ball joints for all their mini figures it would be great fun like
make your own character. And if it is made non licensed in like generic evil robot. hey can re use the same mold and make him in red or black or silver from year to year.
Or release a rainbow collection so things can be swapped around.
