For me, it’s simply the creativity that comes from play. Since I was child, I would come up with elaborate storylines during playtime: huge battles, epic villains, dismemberment (got this from Egyptian mythology), and ETC. I would even come up with stories for toys I didn’t even own. All of this persisted into adulthood, so I still do it to this very day. TL; DR: Imagination.
