Can't access HBO Max right now because it keeps on crashing on my PS4 and i hate using anything but my 50something" screen with 5.1 sound system to watch shit on.
Also, i buy both physical media and physical toys. I can afford it. Mostly. Gotta budget shit, otherwise i'd go to the poor house fast. I limit what i buy every week. So i haven't bought Fraiser on blu-ray, but i sure as fuck bought myself a nice art book for March Comes in Like a Lion for the same price. And I'll probably buy something else instead of Fraiser the next week, because Fraiser will be around for months and even go on sale, while Epic's colorized Akira that was collected in a hardback book by Graphitti Design will probably be bought by someone else on eBay if i don't pay $250 soon.
Or other random shit.
Also also, given how production and shipping has become so fucked up lately, stuff i've preordered is going out of my "now" budget instead of my "then" budget. When something actually gets shipped, it's going out of my budget from that week. So I'm basically randomly poor for a week if it's actually expensive.
In short, opportunity costs favors (or is this vice versa?) collector crap, because they're shorter lived than popular media.
