Kind of a general question, not related to a specific toy. Just the issue of stickers peeling over time in general.
I seem to remember when I was younger a very simple solution was using a glue stick on the back of stickers that were beginning to peel with time and simply pressing them back in place.
I was recently building some old plamo with stickers that had probably long lost their stick, and I tried this method again, but this time It didn't seem to really do anything. If anything the glue almost seemed to act as a thing layer of grease and caused the sticker to "slip" more easily before finding it's intended place.
Does anyone have more recent experience with this? Is there a better alternative? Or is a specific brand of glue stick recommended?
