I saw the website anon referred me to on my original post, but paying for imported items in USD is usually more expensive because of the great conversion rate right now. The nice thing about getting both sets from Amazon JP was the shipping price didn’t go up when I added the second set, which is pretty rare when importing things. One warning if you’re thinking of going with Amazon JP though is that the boxes will most likely be banged up, they glue panels inside the shipping box and then shrink wrap your items to it. Which isn’t very good if you’ve got multiple fragile boxes in the same package. I’ve ordered several things from them and they do this every time.
As for whether it’s worth it, I’d say it is as long as your currency is strong against the yen right now and shipping won’t cost you an arm and a leg. In total with shipping and everything these bunnies cost me 54 USD. Which is probably what they would’ve cost me here in the US if I waited for them to release over here. I had the benefit of buying them from the official Amazon store so I think that’s why the prices and shipping were so low compared to what I expected, and since they’re so new hopefully they’ll be in-stock for a long time.
