I kinda want to go after Green Grocer and Cafe Corner since they're the only two modulars I don't have (other than Market Street)

Made that one entirely from that old robot Designer set which I think is the oldest one so far I used for this kind of stuff.

I've been here for years, /lg/ is just the only general that I actually frequent.
I've tried stuff like elder scrolls general on /vg/ but that was shit right off the bat due to constant character posting. /lg/ was at least tolerable cause at bare minimum the spam was actually kept lego-related. Now it's andrew tate and e-whores.

I don't really buy lego very much, but I just discovered they had a Saturn V rocket model, which is now discontinued and seems to just be being scalped for a huge amount of money.

Does lego tend to recycle old sets? Are there any rumors if they are going to make an SLS model?

I'm looking for a nice rocket model for my office and am considering settling for the discovery shuttle model.

Nexo knights wave 1 was really good. Not only did they have imteresting builds, the color schemes were really nice. Clays rumble blade is literally a vehicle, with detschable bikes, and can detach to be a fucking lego sword.
Wave 2 was poor because the enemoes were grey and purple, which made everything very samey. Wave 3 had potential, but the kill order was sent already, and the wave was dead. At least the shield pentagonal piece will go down as the best piece from the theme.
But i will always be mad they never made an official hairpiece for Macy accurate to the show.

Yeah, it's a shame. Some basic furniture would only need a few more parts. I only managed to make a bed from the leftover parts. I think I managed to make it more spacious than any of the three official variants so it's a bit of a shame to end up having it empty.

So Star Wars Lando was the culprit? It's weird because as a kid I never really thought of Lando as black, just that he's darker skin human than Han Solo in a world filled with red, green, blue, orange people.

Finished with my Japanese castle moc. Design is mostly based on an old Lego ideas by someone else (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/93494a94-4229-4d86-bc0d-fb5209e727d4) but with some changes, such as reducing tenshukaku by one floor, raising lower wall height to make it scale better with minifig, and fitting it on the old royal knights castle baseplate I still have.

The ball as packaging was a cute idea for kids because it grabs their attention, makes for some interaction during play since they don't give a shit about scale, and you can throw pieces into it to carry around on road trips and such. They must have been decently popular because I've gotten a bunch of Death Stars and other planets from fat facebook bins, which I give away to my younger nieces and nephews with a few pieces and a minifig inside whenever I see em.

I don't understand the mentality of people who will buy literally anything lego makes, and never has any negative issues with anything lego does, even when lego blatantly has done stupid things. I also dont understand people who make excuses for lego fucking up, like the rash of cracking and crumbling parts we've been seeing more and more of. I am a city and 3 in 1 collector. But I stopped collecting city when they started using the new road tiles, because I already have road baseplates. I think the brick built roads are objectively bad, but there are people who can't get enough of them.

I wouldnt have care on generic minfig design (like City citizens, Creator, etc...) but this minifig comes from a CMF, where the minifig design the selling point
From the torso piece PLUS androgynous humans on Vidiyo boxart I start paying attention to the color scheme... Unsurprisingly, it matches tranny color pattern

Sets are convoluted with abnormal pieces quantity in ordet to skyrocket the price. Every set could be 500 less pieces. Too much chink core. And very few minifigs for the price while Ninjago ships 10 or 20 on expensive sets.
I wont deny some sets are great (like pig truck, truck caravan, and that giant skeleton) but overall they are lackluster both as Lego set and as toy

I live an hour from a Lego store and they typically have sets that are sold out elsewhere even online. Definitely have more of each item than a department store too.

I’ve thought I grabbed the last of something before only to see staff fully restock the shelf once it was empty.

Review of Blacktron Cruiser:
1. Stickers are aids to put on, looks like shit if you miss-align one (I did)
2. The inter-connectivity uses clips instead of pins so you'll have to replace those after a week
3. It IS able to hold the robot and conttainer tho.
4. Minifig has back printing

Overall I'd give it a 4/10, stickers did me in. You'd be better off with the original

i don't like flesh tone figures for the following reasons;

Hose and flex tubes are cool, but depending on scale you might even have a good time with the actual "ammo belt" piece 98567. You can even stick bar-sized elements inside the holes to simulate bullets. The best element for that probably being the bionicle "barakki eye" 58176 that usually gets used for light domes on vehicles these days. They are really common in flat silver which would look very bullet-like.

I will forever regret being on Lego hiatus during that time and not knowing it existed. The inner rock raider chad inside of me can't get over that I didn't support this spiritual successor. It also probably would have gotten me back into Lego sooner and I wouldn't have missed out on the first 2 modulars.

Not the anon, but this is the way. I used this idea for a belt-fed harpoon gun on an Aquashark mech moc. I'm on vacation and don't have a pic, but I'll post it when I get home in mid-January.

Yeah, I was confused too. I only ever clean with air brushing and Q-tips, and never had crack issues, so I was confused why so many people posted like it was a common thing.
