>>10226698Clearly you're getting about great merchandise such as the official Funko Pop Stardust Dragon :^). Or something like the officially licensed GX shirts
There's a good reason why anything that isn't DM, and isn't a cheap trinket or apparel, tends to be a website exclusive in Japan (meanwhile Megahouse is more than happy to release behemoths such as the Egyptian God statues as standard releases), and that's because DM is the most popular and relevant. Appealing outside of DM is appealing to a more niche demographic even in Japan, and it's only very recently that we have been getting more varied merchandise. I think you're overlooking at how fucking bleak the merchandise was for anything outside of DM for the longest time, especially prior to the previous anniversary milestone.
It has nothing to do with localization or your weird Reddit shit, just that things that aren't DM are niche. When the west barely gets Yu-Gi-Oh stuff compared to Japan outside of cards and supplies, your options are naturally even fewer.
Some anon mentioned value in the franchise, but is ignoring the fact that it's a card business. It's not like Hello Kitty that makes money from putting the cat on absolutely everything.
