My investment is in long term blue chip stocks and index funds, 401k, Roth IRA, 529, HSA, a few startup businesses, I bonds and a small portion of cds.
My toys will not be sold, I just derive pride from the increased value
But for the record my collection has easily gained 300-500% in value and I could easily sell it off for a substantial amount well into 5 digit numbers if not 6, but I won't because it's not an investment it's a collection and I'm keeping it.
