I'm looking for a particular figure of a potted humanoid cactus with a bulbous head, resembling a forest green baby with yellow eyes and a red mouth that was covered in spikes. It was loaned to us to identify our order at a restaurant (in place of a number) in the early to mid 90's that was potentially at Atlantic Beach, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC. An electronic screen displaying this toy, identified as the Coy Cactus there, was our signal to get our food. Every few years I remember to try finding this toy or restaurant again, and I've never found so much as a suggestion that such a figure or place ever existed. I could be wrong about the location, but it's my best set of guesses. I really just want to see proof of the restaurant's existence and look at some of the other weird toys they must have used for the same purpose. It's possible this cactus and the other figures were custom creations or mascots, but if that were the case, I feel like I surely would have found answers by now. In my opinion, it's more likely that they took a bunch of random knick-knacks they had lying around and assigned memorable names to them for this purpose.
