oh god and there's a 'lloyd's' one too.. i have nya's and zane's, and they are incredible. for a franchise this stupid, they have some excellent mechs.

Im conflicted because i don't care much for ninjago's plot. But they've pump the most mechs out of any lego ip. And most of them look great.

exoforce looked like garbage to me. i remember being very disappointed in it. so much shitty fake anime at the time trying to grab onto the popularity without understanding 5% of what made it popular.
ninjago's plot does look pretty dumb, but I like the enemy aesthetic, and the minifigs come with cool weapons and even have storage, so overall I think this is an okay thing for liiittle kids.

Tbf this was before lego designers were given much more generous part limits. And exoforce were integral to giving all lego mechs after it proper hands with fingers. Still wish they finished the plot and did something with qt the tomboy pilot.

lego mechs still have not remotely gone as full /k/ as they could/should. i demand lego gatling guns. best we got is the Molten Man set, which I consider an honorary mech and I turned mine into a mech. built him some feet, tweaked proportions, it was rad.

fuckit, bought it from a ukrainian seller with no minifigs (cheapest way to get these mechs). i didn't want the dumb little hwacha anyway.
can't find lloyd's for a decent price yet, but I might just skip him. The nostalgic colors only go so far, it looks like similar to zane's, the shoulders are placed too low, so I'd have to fix those again.
