Sigh. I figured it was something like this. People/companies that don't collect, or aren't familiar with articulated figures should NOT attempt to make them. Because these are basically useless as far as articulation is concerned and now they don't really appeal to either camp. Statue people will say the joints are ugly, and action figure people will say the joints are designed horribly and there isn't enough to do any functional posing.

And now the companies involved will interpret (inevitable) bad sales as "Nobody wants Scott Pilgrim figures". When people do in fact, they just don't want poorly designed pieces of shit.

god I forgot about these, initially PO'd them from the early onset excitement but cancelled them right after. Glad I did.

though if anything it's a sign that Scott merch still has some ripples, maybe if that anime adaptation O'Malley is doing with Science Saru pans out, someone else will take a stab at them and work their way out from there
