I haven't seen any signs of Chaos or Big at the two different Targets that I go to fairly frequently. Last time I went, I even asked an employee if they had more Sonic figs in the back and she said "NECA brings them here and puts them on the shelves so we don't have them in our system." I wasn't feeling autistic enough to "Well ackshually" her so I just said thanks and left. I really just want Chaos and Knuckles, and then I'll feel satisfied with my collection because I have basically everyone else that I like. I just want those two figs so I can escape the Sonic collector nightmare and be done with it. Today I picked up a 4" Robotnik at Walmart with absolutely shitty loose legs but I dont really care too much because he's just gonna be sitting on a shelf anyway. Honestly, collecting this Jakks line kind of sucks. It just leaves me feeling empty. I hope my future kids enjoy Sonic because they'll have plenty of shit to play with.

I'll second this. The distribution for this line is absurd. I only want 4 more figures and I'm bowing out. I ended up wasting so much gas checking for Charmy at 3 different Targets 3x a week that I just gave in and bought one for 20 bucks on ebay. I hate supporting scalpers, but I'd probably waste more money on gas looking for the damn thing.

They're a good size. Thanks to Jakks for some reason insisting on making the classic characters colossal, the 4" ones are too obnoxiously large. The 2.5" scale works just right for characters of their proportions.

Thin noodle limbs ending with huge fists and feet, this kind of design doesn't lend itself well to elbow and knee joints. They're almost always gonna be loose out of the box and have trouble blending into the sculpt.

A small single or hinge joint for the elbows and knees that didn't just cut a big chunk out the leg. I guess stability of such tiny joints in such tiny figures is the real problem but even then, there's figures out there that managed to pull it off

Remember Tomy? SEGA in their infinite wisdom took away license from Jazwares and handled it to Tomy just to promote Boom line. Because Tomy had a way better distibution and access to international markets (europe, mostly). It's same shit all over again. why is the resell so bad on the 2.5 inch figs? I got the Christmas set and ended up with some doubles. I keep my figs new in the package for a long time and open one every couple of months, so I have half the figs in the Christmas bundle already.

I can't even sell these things at fucking cost. And I thought many of these were rare, like mighty and ray. I'm literally trying to get $6 each which is still a loss because I paid 6.05 for them

I've been to three different Targets since reading this and having found ANYTHING Sonic-related in the Valentines section. The 4" pegs are gone from where they originally were, but the figures themselves are still there.

The last 2 Jakks renewals were announced in April. I expect it to be the same this year as well. We still have 2 more waves from 2.5" and 4" and Jakk's Sonic Prime 2.5" and playsets.
It should be noted that PMI's license specifically only mentions Prime and nothing else. The Netflix branding is all over it too. They make zero mention in regards to making anything other than Prime related merchandise.

People said the same thing about Omega. Also, they've completed every team from Sonic Heroes except team Amy. The only member left is Cream. The worst part is most of the classic badniks that have been released are based on Generations/Lost worlds designs. Crabmeat is a weird mesh of both, and both Buzz Bomber and Motobug take from their Modern designs, so Jakks isn't even doing that. Regardless I'd like to see more modern Badniks after we get a decent chunk of the classic ones made. Jakks has done amazing with complimenting the Classic figures with playsets and enemies, but Modern is still lacking.

I think someone was talking about this in an earlier thread.

I've had this Jakks bendable Tails in my desk drawer for nearly a year now, and I've just noticed he's got these dark "stains" on him, I assume they're from the computer equipment like external hard drives and headphones I also keep in the drawer with their rubber black wires, but I can't seem to clean them off of him. Nothing I've tried removes them and I've even tried standing them away but they seem to be deeper than the surface.

Is there no way to clean these? And are the standard Jakks figures succeptable to this too? Because I've got those all bundled up together in a box from when I moved earlier in the year.

Congrats! The I personally just want Blaze to go with Silver, and Cream to finish off team rose. After that, I'm done. Distribution is so bad that I really don't care about anyone other than the core group of characters. The only other figure I'd try to find is Gamma, but I kinda doubt he'll ever get made. But who knows, I didn't think they'd ever make Omega so I guess it's possible.

I just looked on ebay too. Even the good one with all the accessories isn't bad priced at all. Do idea why some are 100ish bucks while others are like 250. The 100 bucks one isn't the EZ version. I will probably wait to see if they do a reissue though.

fastest cheapest thing might be just to buy both at walmart and then return them without the stands or sell them for 3 or 4 dollars and keep the stands.

be careful with returns though. Walmart keeps records now. you only get like 5 with a receipt.
