How do i stop this cycle /toy/? I still love my toys and theres still ones i want to buy occasionally but the completionist hell seems inescapable

You can do what I did and get rid of the ones you don't like as much anymore. I am about to donate a big tub of Legos and other misc. candy toys I bought throughout the years. Anything thats valuable, like $15+ I'll try to sell online for a small profit.
I know this may sound like a meme, but look into the Marie Kondo cleaining up methods of tidying, etc. It helped me. I just went through my toys and went 'do I really like this?' and put it in a pile to get rid of. Anything you do like put it in a pile to keep. And then just slowly filter out what you like the most.
Also its good to tidy up and organize, it'll save you space in the long run.

Im becoming rusty brown with how clutered things are. I hate it. I wanna try selling some stuff but i also really REALLY need to stop myself from buying as much as i do. If its really getting to you, what I did also was literally toss toys in the trash. Your mental well being is worth more than the monetary value of some toys. It'll probably feel weird, but it helped me. Just another suggestion. But also think really long if you want to trash it or not. I didn't have to think twice about throwing away some of my stuff, but there were a few items I went 'no wait!!!' and ran back to dig it out the trash (and cleaned it) lol
As far as being addicted to buying stuff, maybe set a limit on how many toys or trips to the store/online shop you make a week? And then two weeks? And then a month?
If there are I MUST BUY THIS items, then set those aside as special, and anything else put in your weekly budget buying schedule.

Also, I haven't touched marvel legends in forever, but I appreciate the offer.
For the record, right now I'm heavily into the joytoy Warhammer line, fighting the urge to buy yet another space marine, but in yellow! (Well, I say that like I have money to spend. That stolen food stamps wasn't a bit lol).

Yeah then thats fine. I would just put everything into a few boxes that you don't want/remember even buying and then donate those. Of course I wouldn't be donating things like figmas or anything, but without knowing your situation it could be an option too.
I just know I have a few boxes of stuff I've been wanting to sell since last year that have been collecting dust. Its just a matter of motivation and realizing how big of a difference just a few small steps will make.

Sell them at a flea market. I've been selling on ebay over 20 years whenever i needed to make room/grew bored with some stuff. These days its very difficult because the hobby has been plauged by fools wanting everything MIN/as investment items. I paid $100 for a table at a fair and sold everything. Don't know why but people these days respond better on direct purchase.
