They would sometimes post prototypes and they got to show unpainted, unarticulated protos of Guile and Terry (pic related, I think).
I don't know why this CvS2 line stopped; one day High Dream said that the relation with Capcom had stopped, I think over some disagreements.
The line had some glaring flaws here and there (Chun Li lacking forward, backward ankle articulation in favor of only an ankle rocker!; some articulation implementation being very clumsy...), but the sculpts had quite some character.
