I loved chima mammoth and it's still one of my favorite builds.

No, we should not. This is AWFUL. Instead of getting a full castle theme of any of these sets potential themes, instead we get $300-$600 sets for each one. One big display set, no continuity at all. Truly awful, atleast Nexo Knights had a sense of continuity and was a full theme. With Nexo you had an entire world, but here? Only a fake promise for more. This is a SACRILEGE. I pray for all of them to get CANCELLED.

Recently I got a little butthurt over the quality of the newest sets I got straight from Lego.com:

>transparent pieces were all scratched out badly of the box
>sticker sheets wrinkled so much, one of them detached, later found it glued into inside wall of the box

Got pissed and bought some toys from Mcfarlne, and fuck me, the amount of plastic i got compared to Lego for the same price is incomparable, Lego always was expensive but god damn, prices went out of hand recently.

Hopefully he's just an extra member of the ninja, like Skyler was in season 5, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lego was trying to replace Jay. Ever since 2019, Jay's elemental ability has been dispicted as trans-neon green or trans-yellow, presumably to make him stand apart from Zane who also uses trans-light blue highlights. Even the cool Golden Dragon Jay is half yellow, despite Jay being the BLUE ninja.

I'm probably /lg/'s biggest trainfag and the only Bricklink set I snagged was the 50s Diner. I appreciate what the designer was going for with all the details, but it's too empty of a station. Like shit, there isn't even a ticket booth (There's a ticket machine but that ain't the same, especially for what's designed to be a late 19th/early 20th century train station). On top of that, what's the purpose of a waiting area if it's completely separate from the station itself? Especially when there's a staircase at the same level inside the station, but because of the way the outer walls are designed he couldn't allow for a door leading into the station from there.

The commuter train design is alright tho, if a bit basic compared to the station itself. Feels like an afterthought in my eyes.

I like the look of this, but if they're contemplating doing that medieval set, they should do it as 2-3 mid-size affordable sets, instead of one big premium price set. Mini-modulars, if you will. This isn't like the castle, where you need the entire gray box or nothing.

Going by that image alone, I wouldn't even be tempted to spend money on this. Too uniform in color and lacking visual pizzazz. Looks like a big brown snail or a turd. Normally I prefer a more studded look, but this looks unrefined. Maybe it has a godly interior with that 6.5k piece count and every figure imaginable, but such as it is in that image, it fails as a display piece.

The Mando Star Destroyer was the most disappointed I've been with a set in a decade. How hard would it have been to make it a bit bigger and actually give it an interior instead of a single room with a table in it? Easier budgetary planning over a period of time aside, which should be fucking obvious to anyone, having smaller chunks also enables you to pick out specific sets you liked multiple times without the need to buy the entire fuckhuge all-in-one package. Maybe I want several of the smaller buildings, or the set that contains the animals. Much easier to do so, if it's several mid size or smaller sets, especially if the assembly isn't interconnected to begin with, like in >>10255003. Also more likely to find decent discounts on non-premium sets.

Essentially. The original incarnation was "here are a handful of failed Ideas sets. On a set date and time, crowdfunding opens for fans to buy into any set on the list that they want. If a threshold of sets bought is crossed, that set is produced." At the time, it was limited to the first ~6 or so in each batch, like the train station there.
The new version just began today. Anyone can submit their own model for vetting to be crowdfunded, though it must be an original idea. No IPs allowed. There are other details, but that's what I know.

Yes, it's always been a thing.

A lot of my minifigs as a kid in the 90s developed cracks along the sides of their torsos, their fee and arms with in a couple of years of getting them.
More recently, probably about 30-40% of my minifigs that are connected to studs have developed small hairline cracks on the base of the back of their legs.
A couple of others have developed cracks on the side of their torsos or arms, but these are rare, like 3 or 4 in total.

The more I think about it, the more a survey to get a feel for pricing makes sense. LEGO took a HUGE swing and a miss on a lot of sets last year at their initial price point (the BP bust and Hulkbuster being the obvious ones, but there were also some others.) As much as I'm sure LEGO hates leaks, I'd bet if they had to choose between set images getting out and having another five or so sets have to go on steep discount almost immediately after release, they'd take the former every day of the week. 2022 felt like the first year where LEGO consistently made mistakes and I bet there's some concern.

So I took a quick jab at messing with my Titan Mech modifications, mostly stealing parts from the Rabbit 3 in 1 to get a general idea of what I wanna do with this guy. So far I've done the following:
>Stripped off all the gold shit from the mech (Mainly the shoulders and hands). V-fin can stay though
>Took the ponytail off. Still need to replace the back of the head with a 1x2 blue brick or some sort of SNOT setup for some back detail.
>Swapped the ball joint setup on the legs. It's not perfect but it allows for some more ankle rotation which is nice.
>Enclosed the cockpit with some parts from the rabbit (The 3x3 round pieces and some slopes on the neck)
Not a fan of the 2 finger setup so I'm probably go change it to 3 fingers next.

And here's how I plan on updating the shoulder thrusters. The Hero Factory teeth/claw things just happened to be in the bricklink store I was buying some other stuff from and they looked like they'd turn out well for this mod, and testing them out in Stud.io seems to say so as well. There's enough space at the bottom for when I swap out the missile launcher brick for standard bricks (I kinda wanna reuse those for something else and there's no reason to just cover it up) that I could reuse the tubes from the ponytail and attach them to a backpack for fuel.

My dad bought the smaller pirate schooner because that was all he could afford when he went abroad to danes and gave it to my sister. I had like 5yo and made so much fuss about that, he said it was a present for both of us. Didn't ask. Plus it sucks we only got two. I liked that in Lego Dimensions you could switch between all the doctors with just one fig puck. The Dr. Who set was pretty nice too cus it's basically a play set or you can just display the reTARDIS. I grabbed a few Cybermen and Dalek when the sets were going on sale for $5 each.
