chatGPT never quite hit the nail on the head, but I was able to use its suggestions as a jumping off point to help remember a couple old toys I had which I never knew the names of.
Basically I'd give it a description of the toy as best I could remember, and it gave me its best guess.
So far I was able to identify Reactor, a Micromachines ZBot, and this guy, Aracula, from Skeleton Warrior.
It's possible I could have narrowed them down using google by itself, but chatGPT did streamline the search a bit so that's cool.
One toy I havn't had success figuring out yet was an action figure of a black guy with sunglasses, tight yellow shirt showing off his muscles, black tie, brown pants, wing tip shoes, and perhaps the most interestingly, a robotic midsection. In the middle of his stomach was a circular emblem with a star. He had really loose hip joints, making it easy to swing his legs around for karate kicks. chatGPT so far suggested Roadblock and Shaft, neither of which is answer haha.
