Idk, he was part of the original team and I’m assuming this box set is for the three former MMPR rangers so it’s not really the same team.

SoC is the best version out there, but I'd also recommend looking into the Super Mini Pla.

Legacy is decent enough if it's JUST Daizyujin.
The moment you try to combine any, the flaws with the diecast become apparent.
The whole thing is top heavy and he leans forward with a slouch because of the weak pegs at the knees.

Or at least it seems so to me, I've never dealt with anything like this so I don't know if they will sell full sets at the end.

it's actually a little over 7" which means it should be more or less perfectly scaled with Lightning Collection monsters which is a neat bonus

the whole folding into boxes thing is admittedly a bit silly but doesn't really harm the designs or their articulation as far as I can tell(since the original designs were pretty boxy as is)

to be more specific the big pterodactyl zord's chest both pops off to form the megazord's chest and also can unfold to be a more screen accurate version of the zord, so the bigger one is more of a neat bonus than a hard requirement(as can be seen in the ShowZ listing you can form a more screen accurate Megazord by leaving off the extra bits)

also I do hope it does well enough that they'll do Dragonzord and Titanus as well, maybe even do the season 2 and 3 MMPR zords as well down the road

There was a 2 dollar little thing of gems of various shapes and sizes I saw while glancing at the craft section in Walmart. Took the smallest red one and super glued it in place. Not centered perfectly but I like it more than the hole.

I'm not surprised. It gives him representation while giving Hasbro an excuse to omit the Cole head. I can't imagine the armor will be removable though, so it kicks the can down the road in regards to the issue of giving people a normal WF Red. Ricardo ultimately went to prison for manslaughter, not murder, and he served his time, so I really don't think it should be an issue making a figure with his head. Half the heads don't even look like the actors when they try.

I agree, I think the whole actor head thing is dumb. I get it, they don’t want to make headlines with “Hasbro makes action figure of murderer”, even though that’s a gross oversimplification. But omitting the head doesn’t really avoid the issue either.

I do think they’ll make the armor removable to a certain extent. Like, the chest armor and wings will pop off. But the gloves and boots will likely be sculpted on.

That also gives them a reason to fix a couple of the parts with reuse later, and make a vanilla WF Red down the line, likely including the personal weapon that will guaranteed be left out of the battleizer release.

Alternatively throw the head in the trash, light it on fire, etc. There is no reason for an unwanted accessory to prevent someone from buying a figure. But I agree, characters need to be separated from the actors who played them, and in Ricardo's case it wasn't even a cut and dry thing. It was originally deemed self defense and he was released with no charges.

He wasn't charged for murder until a year later because the family of the victim wouldn't let it go. He accepted a plea deal for manslaughter because it wasn't worth the risk of losing the case and doing 26 to life. He got a 6 year sentence and only ended up serving 3 years before being released. If Matthew Broderick can get a Happy Meal toy after killing two women with careless driving, I think it's okay for an adult collector's figure of Wild Force Red to get a Cole head.

I mean I personally buy almost every figure this line puts out, and the only instances I’ve seen of actual rampant QC were the Ninja MMPR figures, and now Dino Fury Green. That being said, I own both of those and I had no issues just ordering online and I guess winning the QC lottery.
Only really terrible figure I’ve gotten was that MMPR Yellow Jason, who’s a floppy mess. And that makes me not thrilled about the MMPR Remastered figures on the same mold.
QC is awful right now across the line, and I certainly won’t deny that. But for any given figure, we’re also talking about 1-8 figures with issues out of what, 10,000 being shipped here? I guess I’ve just been lucky and I’m hoping it stays that way. Hasbro has to be seeing this shit online though, people complaining about QC are everywhere, so I’m hoping they tighten shit up.

Pretty sure the floppy problem is because of the plastic free packaging, not the mold. The figures are getting jolted around a thousand times before they make it into your possession, and with no plastic tray to keep everything secure it's going to put wear and tear on certain joints.

QC was already bad in this line, but it went up tenfold with the plastic free packaging. I can't see how this is saving them any money in the long run when so many figures are arriving damaged and/or with wrong/missing parts. Those figures are being returned and ending up in a landfill somewhere, which is worse for both business and the environment. Problem is I don't see how they revert back to plastic while being able to save face in regards to their own ineptitude, and these woke companies would generally rather lose money than admit they were wrong/stupid.

Why does this get brought up so much? Hasbro is giving you extra stuff for the same cost, if they took the heads away they would still cost the same. If you don’t use the heads yourself, just sell them all in a big lot on eBay or something, I’m sure someone would buy them. Personally, I use them. I don’t always give my figures the sidearms, but you won’t see me advocating that they not be included.

Yes for a couple of reasons:

1. Right now it's the only way to get a Rocky head that actually looks like Rocky (as the Zeo Blue Rocky head was fucked up to make him look way more hispanic than Rocky actually is)

2. It's got the only version of Billy's unmasked head without glasses.

3. Ayisha's head has a normal hairdo whereas the Scorpina box set has her hair all done fancy per the episode it's based on's one-off hairdo.

I think only Red is the new sculpt. Black most certainly isn't. Yellow I'm not sure about. The previous basic Red could fit on an LC body but I think it was a bit small, and the basic head joint was bigger than LC, so it's loose unless you add some fun tak or something. Best just waiting for the remastered. Or alternatively if you can get the gender swap pack on sale those should fit properly, and both are the updated sculpts.

I did this and mine were pretty tight. Red wasn't too bad but Yellow's I was afraid to leave it on the female body so I am still using the original one. To be fair though, they were also nigh impossible to swap onto the figures they were meant to go onto as well. Hasbro needs to work on the size of the port on the helmets.

My original release MMPR figs are fine for the most part, only one who has kind of an overly tight head is Trini's civilian head. It was just the newer helmets for some reason. I got a free Adam from Hasbro due to all the issues with my DC Blue. The body wasn't painted as well as my Zack, so I decided I'd swap the helmet, keep the civvy head, and sell the rest. The peg is the same size, but Adam's helmet had to be dremeled to fit Zack's body and Zack's helmet was so loos on Adam's body that it could freely rotate like a fidget spinner. No clue how that's the case.

Good articulation by Megazord standards but the plastic looks cheap and they still haven't completed the set. I heard about the attachment points having poor QC (variation in how tight the connection is, fragility) but I don't know how common that is.

Great. My only Target within about two hours is in the midst of a great upheaval, having taken entire sections out to remodel the store's interior while remaining open with swatches of shelves placed in entirely random locations. They don't even have an electronics, books, or collectibles section right now and haven't for over a month. They apparently clearanced out all their Nintendo merch usually next to the games recently because the entire marked down section was empty save for a box of full-priced baby Mario plushies and one Bowser.

The local Target is only five minutes drive, but it's a mess right now with the remodeling. The next closest is in Atlanta, around two hours away. Also, the stuff getting clearanced never seems to be that price on their site.

Been collecting Legends since 2015, and it’s never been this bad. There’s paint issues on occasion, but it’s never been as bad as Lightning even when the line started, and Lightning’s been especially bad starting with Wave 12 (the one with Galaxy Green). I think they’re just rushing stuff out the door since they’ve been playing catch up, and they use worse factories for PR.
GI Joe also doesn’t have as rampant problems with this.

ML quality has taken a huge dive in the last year or so between paint, incorrect parts, and pieces like ankles snapping off due to shit tolerances. I don’t know if it’s as bad as this line but it’s certainly at lot worse than it used to be. They are cutting too many corners.

Outside of remastered White and Green Tommy I think I'm done with the line until they unfuck their QC. What company would handle the license better if it ever went to someone else? Even Super7's figures are rife with qc issues. Though I don't care for the molds on them anyway nor lack of articulation. At least if they were well made it'd be an option.

I may do a bait and switch for some helmets or something on the remasters but if I see that they're still too tight and breaking figures, then I'm just going to skip them and stick with my original helmets. I feel bad JDF's passing made me want some figures from the line. Always said I'd grab some later but never did. Granted I don't want a lot from the line either but I grabbed Phantom Ranger recently cause he looked cool and he's a really solid figure. It annoys me even more though because it proves they can do products that feel very much worth the price but they'd rather piss in the wind.

I know I'm in the minority for this but I enjoy the zords being bigger. Makes them feel more like an actual Zord. I have the ZAP Dino Megazord, really dislike the hexagon shapes they have for the chest and weird transparency they had for the shoulders but the back of the shoulders looked great. Idk maybe I'm also enjoying the articulation I get from them though

There's plenty of ways to do it, same for more arm articulation. The issues are mostly a team that's inexperienced with transforming toys, and many of thr methods to improve that being more expensive.
