the real problem with fanshobby slimming armada prime is that it made them end up having to do stupid shit like the plastic-flexing panelforming shit to get the chest bulked back up for supermode. they created an issue and their solution is inelegant as fuck and would be better off if they didn't try reinventing the wheel in places they didn't need to.
as for hasblo's retake... it looks *okay*. probably could have done better if they wanted to. sadly it's less toy than the original for a far higher price, as is so often the case these days, and I don't have high hopes about them redoing his combination buddies for completeness. I can almost see FH doing it some day just because 3p guys don't let bean counters decide everything.
