Guys, nobody get excited. Nothing shown here will ever happen, I don't believe half the shit this guy is posting, and here's the story from what I've gathered:
-A guy named Greg started a Toy Biz fan account on Instagram a couple years back. @ToyBizOfficial
-In 2021 he clams Toy Biz was 'fully obtained' by a private investor in the UK, whatever that means.
***Yet Marvel still holds active trademarks for Toy Biz in the US so this claim is confusing***
-He keeps making claims like 'WE are in the process of recruiting out previous talented members...' yet he later says that he is the only one at the new Toy Biz Ltd. So again, these claims don't add up.
***If he was just a fan with a fan account, how can he be recruiting old members of a company he never worked at? This doesn't make sense***
-He claims he's waiting for 'Marvel to release the
ToyBiz.com domain' so he can legally use it.
***This also makes no sense because Marvel (owned by Disney now) holds the current trademarks to the name Toy Biz. It sounds like he's under the impressions he's entitled to the real former Toy Biz's domain just because he has a UK trademark to the name or something?***
-He claims he's going to work hard and bring back Legendary Comic Book Heroes, blah blah blah, but this just sounds like a young, inexperienced kid with no actual idea how businesses operate, how to manufacture anything, legality of things, etc. Hell, he can't even put type on an image and format it correctly. Do we seriously expect this guy to start and run a company? Where is his funding? Why do the renders of that super articulated body look so shitty and unfinished?
Honestly, the most likely outcome is that he gets slapped with a cease and desist from Marvel's lawyers since he's claiming all this stuff and like and IDIOT, sounds like he's reached out to Marvel about the domain, basically outing himself.
