FP Grimlock has one of the phattest dumpers I've ever seen on a Grimlock though and it looks wildly out of place with the upper half of the thing. There's a reason every product shot from FP as well as every collector who does "professional" photoshoots of their toys only ever does it from very specific angles. This thing is a massive ugly fucking letdown.
Hell, Snarl ended up looking better than him in every mode, and that fucker has a giant stupid hood that FP was too lazy to do anything about. I swear, it's like they accidentally sent an older CAD file to production and didn't realize it until the molds were done so they just said "fuck it".
And you know what really chaps my ass about this? Other companies pay attention to one another. They look at what does well and what flops. I'm sure some will buy it because it's a con exclusive and FOMO but if it sells poorly for an exclusive, other companies might see it and think nobody wants G2 Grimlock instead of realizing nobody wants THAT Grimlock.
