I'm actually not too bummed, I'm starting to run out of display space and it was a real hog.

I also have the huge Neca master chief and I'm pretty sure it will break in the exact same way if I try to move the diaphragm at all. These giant neca's have terrible single ball-joint chests that freeze up again after you warm them up.

Some glue accidentally got into the peg, and his arm could no longer swivel, only bend the plastic, so I removed it and tried to replace the joint with magnets.
Worked with very limited success, as it can stay in place, but struggles to stay up, even with extra magnets added for strength.

Yea, that's prone to happen with Necas. Majority of my toys I've had broken on me were Neca. The worst case I've had was with Gypsy Danger. It came with both elbow joints cracked and the battery cover on its back broken clean off, right out of the box.

You can find broken neca way too easily online, it's not a "you" problem, it's a brand problem.
Hell, too often I've passed up or seen breakage of neca stuff INSIDE the box on store shelves. Very rarely have I seen the same with McFarlane, hasbro, or any other toys found in mass retailers.

Yeah, I grab import xenos and preds when they come up, but they're very rare. Would sacrifice every Breaka Xeno and pred I own for an Amazing yamaguchi set.

The Mafex xeno was a hot pile of Import-Breaka and the figma is looks nice, but is not too articulated. Figma pred is very nice but also very small.

And I always find it every strange that big name online reviewers who keeps buying Neca's stuff never seemed mention Neca's shit qc even though statistically speaking it is not possible for them not encounter them with the amount of figures they are buying
