I got my grail a few years back. Back in the early 00’s the Discovery Channel Store had these latex-skin plush dinosaurs that were about as big as the old Bull T-Rex from TLW Kenner line. They had an Allosaurus I wanted but being a young teen with barely any allowance I didn’t have the $30 for it (I think that’d be around $40-$50 in today’s burgerbucks) plus I was too young to get a job legally. Anyways I never saw it in stores again but hoped I would find one on eBay one day, so every month or so I’d scour eBay for a used one but never found it. Then, on a whim to search again after so long I decided to search for old time’s sake in 2020, and low and behold there was one finally for sale (and pretty good condition too!). Bought instantly. Then over the next three years I acquired two more. Life is good.
