>>10366984The 91 movie isn't really bad. If you drop the Mario elements & make it an original sci-fi movie it's great. But as a Mario movie it's an odd adaptaion made in a time when anythign faithful was impossible. It also had a lot of production problems. However the Yoshi puppet had to be designed from scratch & it was key in getting Jurassic Park made later on.

Tyson Hesse got asspats for the redesign, which he still fucked up on purpose. The film barely broke even yet got a sequel, so it was probably used to launder money over at Sony. Jim Carrey is a used-up has-been too but somehow this company couldn't find a fat guy to play the role- and the MAGA who anted to beat the girl movie & patted Hesse's behind so hard still hated the "interracial couple" & Carrey being anti-Trump, so they were still mad.
Mario had higher hopes, but the main VA is dogshit lazy with a MAGA fanbase & MAGA still cried over Peach anyway, so they couldn't be bothered to support him. Funny, since ne fo the major loudmouth assholes has also admitted he once pissed on his own floor & sprayed shit all over a Walmart bathroom because he had the runs. Those are the type pf people that have an audience to affect how well films do. Even with one of their own in the lead they still whine like the women they hate.
