>>10356929When I bought the Hot Toys Batmobile a few years back(after it had been OOP for years), I initially bought it from someone who had to refund me before shipping it because while storing it, mice had gotten into it and eaten the wheels. I was able to get one eventually, and the price was only about $200 more than MSRP. A good chunk of money, sure..but the person who had it was sitting on it for years for $200 profit. And now that it's getting a reissue with improved paint, and another improved version for $800 more, it's going to drop in price further, maybe down to $600.
And while that seems like a lot, the box is the size of a large piece of furniture, so good luck storing that for years. Now, I still enjoy mine anyway, but as an investment it's not worth it.
