The summer after we graduated high school and had our own cars, we planned all kinds of trips to every toy store we could find within reasonable driving distance to hunt down figures we didn't have. Good times.
They weren't super articulated or posable, but the quality was indeed impressive, especially for the price, and the accessories were fucking GOAT. I recall an interview with someone from Palisades who commented that the materials they made those toys out of were EXTREMELY toxic, and warned not to let your kids play with them, lol.
