>>10428387>so 99% of them bought these Dinosaur tamas, except they were knockoffs with the dinosaurTurma da Mônica? (Monica and Friends in America).
These Tamas you are talking about weren't knock offs at all. They were manufactured by Watercore, IIRC they were a South Korean toy company. They produced some of the best vpets of its time.
The one you are talking about is called RakuRaku DinoKun and it's still my favorite to this day. Hana Hana Mi is also very cute, it was produced by the same company. Sadly, they went bankrupt.
They were popular in US too, they were called Dinkie Dino.
I threw mine away in my teens because I thought it was broken, lately I've learnt that the problem was the polarizing screen, it was only a matter of buying a new polarizing screen by cutting and swapping them. I still regret it, I should've kept it, even if I thought it was broken, along with my LEGO.
These pets, RakuRaku Dino Kun, Hana Hana Mi, Yuki Penguin, the one about that boy and Tako Seijin (the street sellers used to market it as the "Varginha UFO Incident vpet" (lol) were all produced by the same company, and they are all great.
There is a great blog about them, It's called Dinkie Pets - RakuRaku DinoKun & Friends (
https://dinkiepets.tumblr.com/).
I'm planning in collecting all of them, but they are extremely high priced. There's a knock off of them, it's engine/IC board/branding is called Hitorikko.
