He looks to be the best part of the movie going off the trailer so I'd be down for a figure, the rest seems terrible though.
Last Voyage of thr Demeter seems more interesting though the Dracula in that looks weird.

I heard it's bad and basically feels like capeshit meets crime drama latter of which is completely kept from the trailer. Nic Cage is apparently the ONLY good part so yeah, with reviews wishing he was in a better movie as Dracula.

from the minute the trailer dropped I felt this way. I dont understand universal's reluctance to deliver on a solid throwback horror film. everything they've tried since the days of the fraiser mummy films has been a failed bombastic attempt after failed bombastic attempt to try and make something more of the monsters. It's braindead on their part and until they realize as much they'll never properly revive the brand. Also aquafina's inclusion in this was all I needed to loose all interest entirely. yeah why give us a good dracula movie for the first time in literal decades when you can shit out this action comedy everyone will forget in a week.

Pretty much. Akwafina's character has this whole crime drama plot which the main character fights against using his vampire powers like superhero fighting crime. It's mostly omitted from the trailers, and it's no surprise why they only kept advertising Nic Cage.

People will hate on it because "Nic Cage BAD" or something without seeing it, like they did with Ghost Rider.

This is also one of the few film adaptations where Dracula looks like the book description.

I actually feel like people's view of Nic Cage has leaned more on the positive in recent years. Also speaking of Ghost Rider, even if the plot was paper thin, that 2nd movie was unironically great entertainment between the crazy direction and Nic Cage's performance.

Just saw it last night. Awkwafina is the worst part of the movie and unfortunately is one of the 4 main characters. Everything else is just okay. Jean-Ralphio from Parks and Rec is in there playing an annoying coked up mobster, but he isnt supposed to be taken seriously, so it works. Awkwafina is a bad actress so its so cringey seeing her try to get us to care about her dead police chief father and estranged sister.
The makeup and Costumes are fantastic though
