Is Lego and Gunpla a good hobby to get into? I used to be into Magic but I got out of it with how bad it got. Lego seems cool because you have an actual thing afterwards.

I used to play magic but had to quit due to my "friends" only adding more expensive-ass cards to their decks forcing me to spend to keep up with the local meta.

I'm building gundam and got into HP lego as I liked that when I was a kid. Have not regretted it.

Well magic is the most onions of games & licensed Lego is the most onions of toys so that’s a match right there. Gundam is exclusively for Chads so you might not like them

This was me 24 years ago when the Magic AND the Pokemon TCG were still the dominant after-school/recess fad. The fact that there are card games where you have to learn the rules and strategies and advance yourself by buying cards you'll PROBABLY get in a pack of cards as the game itself advances further with new items, characters and power creeps just turned me away from the whole thing. A toy has more substance than a bunch of paper cards
