I had the green news helicopter similar to this one, and I had built into something else, an original helicopter design using the spare lego I had from other dismantled sets.
I was so proud and excited, I went running to show my mum who was at the front door talking to her friend from across the street, my best friend's mum, and I slipped at the top of the stairs and fell all the way down in front of them.
I started crying and the helicopter was destroyed. Haven't thought about it for a long, long time. Posting the story on here is a lot cheaper than therapy though.
